Septembre 2005: Distinction for Prof. Dr. Dimitrij Dobrovol'skij
The Russion Germanist Prof. Dr. Dimitrij Dobrovol'skij has received the Jacob- and Willhelm-Grimm-Prize of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The prize is doted with 5.000 Euro and with a research stay at German universities. It was awarded Septembre 1 2005 on the occasion of the 11th International Congress of Germanists in Paris by the president of the DAAD, Prof. Dr. Theodor Berchem. February 2005: Distinction for Prof. Dr. Gertrud Gréciano
The Federal President of the Republic of Austria, Dr. Heinz Fischer, has awarded Ms em. o. Univ. Prof. Dr. Gertrud Gréciano-Grabner with the Grand Silver Distinction for her scientific merits for the republic of Austria. S.E. Ambassador Dr. Aurel Saupe has presented the decoration in the Austrian Residence February 10 2005.

Prof. Dr. Salah Méjri (Tunis; Paris) has received the Rammal Prize of Euroscience (European Association for the Promotion of Science and Technology) for the year 2004. "The Rammal Award" is given every year to excellent researchers who, in the course of their teaching activity, fundamental or applied research, deal with aspects of mediterranean cultures and societies.
